Founding Story
With a legacy that spans over six decades, Nair Constructions stands as one of the region’s most experienced and trusted names in civil construction. Since its inception, the company has delivered a wide portfolio of projects ranging from residential buildings, tower foundations, and roads to private and public sector developments in and around the region.
A significant milestone in the company’s journey came in 1992 when Mr. Suraj Nair took charge of operations. His first project, the first phase of the Puttur Bypass, marked the beginning of a new era defined by consistent delivery, precision, and client satisfaction. Over the past 33+ years, Mr. Suraj has led the company through the successful execution of numerous prominent residential and infrastructure projects, further strengthening Nair Constructions’ position in the industry.
In 2024, the next generation stepped in, carrying forward the legacy with a renewed sense of purpose. Mr. Eshan S. Nair, a qualified architect from the Manipal School of Architecture, represents the third generation of the family in construction. Though trained in architecture, Eshan has fully immersed himself in the construction domain, actively managing the company’s operations from the ground up. With a deep respect for tradition and a passion for modern construction practices, Eshan now oversees day-to-day execution, project management, and long-term strategy for the firm.

Late Mr. E.P.K Nair
Founder
E. P. K Nair is an honored individual who was born in Kerala in the year 1936. He founded Nair Constructions, which was responsible for the construction of many iconic structures in Puttur and other parts of Karnataka during the past 60 years. He is a multifaceted personality, who is known for his flexibility in the construction and Industrial field. For the purpose of his family’s livelihood, E. P. K Nair migrated to Puttur in 1958, where he laid the foundation of Nair Constructions. His kind heart made people who work under him stay close to him and he has a pride of maintaining more than 200 workers throughout the period. He expanded its reach to the neighboring places, and today, Nair Constructions has operations running in DK, Udupi and Madikeri. His inspirational work principles and safety standards have been recognized everywhere, and he has received many accolades from the Government and society.
It is his dedication and talent that has taken Nair Constructions to the heights it has achieved today.
